Equality
and Diversity Careers Resources
The following resources all have careers as a key component. These DVD resources look at stereotyping in career choices based on gender, race, age, culture, disability and sexual orientation. Examples are a young man who wants to work in a nursery, a woman who becomes a motor mechanic and a Muslim working in a meat factory.
The Conflict drama DVDs are designed to enable Teachers and Trainers to explore equality and diversity issues in an exciting and proactive way.
The Role Models resource features young people being interviewed about their non-stereotypical career choices. Each interviewee featured has overcome stereotyping in some way to pursue their chosen career
